Two dreams 2010 - 2011

This is how I named my first independent journey, from which the book of the same name and the film of the same name were created. The year was 2010 and I had long ago decided that after studying at university, I would go out into the world instead of the search for a job. So I got in the car and started wandering around Europe exactly as I had wandered with my dad during my high school holidays. My journey almost unexpectedly ended 3 months after I left for Gibraltar, where I was imprisoned. But in the end I was released and I continued on to Portugal, where I spent two beautiful months wandering the known and unknown corners of this amazing country.

Spring was in full swing when I returned to Spain and I arrived in the foothills of the Pyrenees. And it was right there where I tore the ligaments in my knee and instead of being treated in France, I went back home. I brought my first SLR camera with me back then, which was able to record video, so I took a few shots during the trip. I then made my first feature film, which premiered in November 2011. Because I am very critical of my work, I decided never to put the film on the Internet. Even so, you can look at a short clip that will tell you what my first trip through Europe was like.

Into The Dream 2014

Due to the injury from my first trip through Europe, I had to stay in the Czech Republic for a while. From that time it finally became 3 years that I spent working in a five-star hotel in the center of Prague.

In the spring of 2014, I said enough and set off again. That time to Scandinavia. I originally wanted to travel around Norway for about four months to the northernmost cape of Europe and back home through Sweden for four aditional months. But Norway is such an incredibly varied and interesting country that it took me six months to travel to Nordkapp and I travelled in Sweden for just one month because I knew that I was not ready for the harsh Nordic winter.

It was from this journey that my second feature film and my second book were created. I traveled all over the Czech Republic with the film and even screened it at the Around The World travel festival. Six years after my Nordic journey, I decided to create a second version of the film and place it on my YouTube channel. You can find the whole movie to watch at the very end of this page.

The Dream Rover - Across Pyrenees 2022

In 2022, I decided to continue the journey called Two Dreams, which ended in 2011 with an injury in the Pyrenees. But I wanted to try something completely new. So I decided to do my first ridge crossing instead of a road trip. And so I walked from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. I created my first travel series about the trip, which can be seen on my YouTube channel. In each episode you can see what I saw during the trip, where I slept, what I ate and where I went. The trip lasted 10 months from the end of January 2022 until the beginning of November 2022.

The Dream Rover - Across America 2023 - now

In May 2023, I set out on my 4th trip around the world, this time to another continent. America attracted me because you can find incredibly beautiful scenery here, which can hardly be compared with others around the world. And since I didn't know anyone in the US, I wanted to simplify my life a little and not start another journey in developing or dangerous countries. And so North America was a clear choice for me. Thanks to my sister, I found a friendly person who took me in for the first few weeks, I bought a car and went out into nature. You can follow my journey on my Facebook and Instagram, and a travel series of the entire trip will appear on my YouTube one day.
